The card with the tag on it is made using the Spellbinders poinsettia die and a stamp from Michaels in their $1.50 bin. Both tags use the numbers punch by Martha Stewart. If you want any further info. about either card, email me and I will be glad to provide the information to you.

These are some cards made last year. In another post I will show this year's Valentine cards. Let's see how they have changed over the year. I gave one of my brothers the Charlie Brown "Christmas Tree" type card last year and he loved it. It was so simple to make (a digital). Sometimes the easiest cards come out looking the best.

The next best thing to a heart shaped basket is a heart shaped box. These are a bit more complicated and require my cutting out the shapes on a Cricuit ahead of time (with the use of Sure Cuts a Lot program). I'm trying to work with a die making company to get a die made to make these boxes so they don't have to be cut out on a Cricut......I prefer using dies since they are so quick and easy to use. If you have contacts with a die making company and can get me in touch with someone, this would be a huge seller.
And finally, Valentine's tags........................
If you see anything else on Pinterest that you like and you want to take a class to learn how to make it (paper crafting only), email me and we can discuss it. My email address is email@example.com.

KittyKraft made a card using pink poinsettias and I had to try it myself. I changed up the card base and framed it using a smaller framing technique from StampTV (dimensions are on StampTV as well). I like the Spellbinders poinsettia die without doing the embossing and just using a stylus on the backs of the flowers to give them dimension. I'm going to have to try this card in all different colors now, but I still like the pink.
This is my first attempt, above
This is my second attempt, this time using the Martha Stewart branch punch instead of the pine branch die. I like the second attempt better. What do you think?

Below are two cards made using the Heartfelt Creations Mini Vintage Floret stamps for the flowers. These stamp sets actually come with several different flower shapes other than the one I used but they all make for nice layering. The die cuts are Spellbinders ovals and leaves.

These are some of the steps you need to take:
This technique works best with embossing folders that don't have a ton of embossing on them when used in the first step. I tried it with folders that have a lot more embossing to them and it didn't come out so great. This one folder from Hobby Lobby seems to work the best, but I have so many embossing folders, I just didn't have the time to try them all out.
Good Luck with the new technique. You can always find more information on it and more videos if you do a search on YouTube for Double Embossing.

The second card (below) is using the oval frame diffuser. My stamp should have been a little lower, now that I am looking back at the card. Doesn't look as off centered in real life as it does in the photo. Oh well.
