I will be taking a vacation and not offering any classes between June 1 and June 11. I will post again on my blog a week before classes resume again. My last scheduled class is May 30 and that is still on. In the meantime, if you see any old classes that you want taught this summer, send me an email and I will look into teaching them again. I have other classes from prior years on my old blog at http://KeepingItSimpleCards.blogspot.com. Thank you.

For this class, I will provide the white paper for the card base and glittery paper in all different colors for the butterfly card, but if you want to make any other card, you will need to bring both a piece of 12x12 cardstock for the base and your coordinating scrapbook paper to add on to the card and all embellishments.
Tools and materials you will need to bring are:
12x12 cardstock if making your own card, and not making the butterfly card above
Scrapbook paper if NOT making the butterfly card above
Roller adhesive and a bottle of Glossy Accents
Martha Stewart scoring board and bone folder
A 12" ruler and pencil *** very important that the ruler be a 12" ruler, not a short one
Foam adhesive dots, penny circle sized
I will provide some stamps for greetings on the front of the card, but if you have a special stamp you want to use, bring that with you. Also, I will provide some Spellbinders nestability labels dies for the front of the card, but if you have one you like in particular, bring that as well. I will have my Cuttlebug with me.
I will discount this class by $5.00 if you register before Saturday, May 26. If you register on Saturday, May 26 or the last day to register, Monday, May 28, there is no early registration discount. You must email me at this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org in order for me to sign you up for this class.

The purple, pink and blue purses were an idea made by some students the first time this class was offered and they came out so nice that I had to make them myself to show you.
The school paper purses are a great idea to give to a teacher at the end of the school year or your child's bus driver. A gift card will easily fit into all 3 sizes of purses.
This purse is not made with a die or scoring board, so you can easily make them while sitting in front of the TV at night or waiting at the doctor's office. I will provide all the paper, magnetic closures, and embellishments, but there are some tools you will need to bring:
Please bring the following tools:
An old magazine to use as a pad to score on
A bone folder or stylus to use for scoring
A pair of scissors
1/8 inch and 1/4 inch double sided tape such as Scor-Tape or red backed tape available at Hobby Lobby
A bottle of Glossy Accents or other quick dry glue, also available at Hobby Lobby
A paper piercer or borrow mine
Mini glue dots and Medium size glue dots
A paper trimmer
Please email me by Monday, May 14 if you would like to reserve a spot in this class. Email me at email@example.com. Do not reply back to this email directly as it will go to "NOreply@blogger.com", you must email me at my personal email address.

I will show you how to change the top flap like on the white purse with the pink top, and how to diagonally score them like the black purse with pearls. I will also show you how to dress them up with the scallop edging around the top. An assortment of two sided paper will be provided to make the purses, along with some one sided paper as well. I will also provide the brads for the handles, pearls for the flower centers, and magnets for the closures. If you want to make the daisy embellishments, you will need a pair of straight tipped tweezers.
Supplies / tools you will need to bring:
A Martha Stewart Scoring board with the envelope corner and bone folder
A paper trimmer
A bottle of Glossy Accents or other quick dry glue
A roll of mini glue dots and small glue dots
A roll of 1/8 inch double sided tape or substitute with mini glue dots
Scissors, a pencil
Roller adhesive (permanent type)
If you don't have a Martha Stewart Scoring Board, let me know so that I can bring an extra for you to borrow. If you don't let me know you need one though, I won't bring extras.
Sorry this class is cancelled due to the holidays and low interest. If you are interested in taking this class, send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know, and I will see about offering it again later in the summer.
