Cuttlebug Techniques Class, Saturday, Feb. 9, Sold Out

In this class you will learn hands-on how to use the Cuttlebug and make cards at the end using the techniques you've learned.  This class can be either for the beginner, the experienced user or someone who is considering purchasing a Cuttlebug.  Hobby Lobby sells the Cuttlebug for $89.99 plus it is one of the only stores that allows you to use a coupon on it as well, bringing it down to $53.99 plus tax.  You get the A plate, two B plates and an embossing folder with it.

You can also take this class if you just want to come and make cards with us.  You do not need to have a Cuttlebug.

We will use Cuttlebug dies, Sizzix Bigz dies, Spellbinder dies, embossing folders, and a variety of other materials that can be used in the Cuttlebug, making it the most versatile die cutting machine on the market for it's size and price.   I will also compare the Cuttlebug to the Spellbinders Grand Calibur and the Sizzix Big Shot and Vagabond so you know the difference between them all.

This is a sampling of the items we will make:

Spellbinders Picot Edge circle die, Tim Holtz large rosette die, Paper Studio embossing folder

Tim Holtz Tattered Pine Cone used as a rose, Spellbinders rose leaf die, Paper Studio & Sizzix embossing folders
Paper Studio embossing folder, Stampin Up embossing folder (tulips) and Memory Box butterfly die

Spellbinders Floral Ovals die, large rosette die, bottle cap flattened in the Cuttlebug, scallop punch

If you own a Cuttlebug, please bring it with you to class, along with the A, B and C plates if you have all of them.  Please also bring a small tan embossing mat that fits the Cuttlebug.  You can pick up a package of two of these for $8.99 minus a 40% coupon at Hobby Lobby.  We will use these to emboss Spellbinder dies.  You will also need a bottle of glossy accents or other quick dry glue and a paper piercing tool and pad.

Please also bring some kind of roller adhesive to use when making the cards or a glue stick.  All other materials and tools will be provided.

If you would like to register for this class, please send me an email at before Feb. 7 so I can get materials ready.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me.
