March 22 -- Another Class being offered (Bicycle cards)

I will be offering two classes together at the same time on Friday, March 22 as the cards in these classes are all fairly easy to make and don't require a lot of instruction.

The first class is the Bottle Caps II card class which has it's own post.

The second class which will run at the same time, from 10-1pm and cost the same amount, $20.00, is
the Bicycle Cards class, of which the cards we will be making are shown below.

You do not have to make all of these cards.  If you only want to make some, that is fine.  I will also have the Memory Box bicycle die available for you to cut out as many of as you want as long as it doesn't interfere with the other cardmakers from making their cards.  Just bring in whatever color paper you want your bicycles cut out on and your die cutting machine.  I will supply the pink and black cardstock.

These are some of the cards we will make in the  Bicycle Cards class:

Thinking of You Bicycle Vintage Post Cards

Vintage Bicycle Stationery

Vintage Bicycle Thank you card

Memory Box die cut bicycle cards

I will have other cards available and will post them during the week.  The last day to sign up for this class is Tuesday, March 19 by 12:00 noon please.

You will need to bring the following supplies / tools to this class:

A paper trimmer
Scissors and a bone folder
Roller adhesive and two sided tape, 1/2 inch works best
Glossy Accents or any glue with a fine tip or a glue pen
Foam adhesive dots in a variety of sizes

If you plan on cutting out a lot of the Memory Box bicycles, please bring your own die cutting machine and plates.  This die does cut better with a thin cardboard shim which I will provide.  You will also need a paper piercer to poke out all the tiny pieces once the bicycle is cut out.

If you want to take this class, please email me ASAP to reserve your spot as seating is limited since this class is being combined with the other class.

If you are already signed up to take the Bottle Caps II card class and want to purchase a kit to make these cards, you can do so at the time of the class.  The kit will cost $20 and will include all of the cards above except for the one with the balloons.
