Thinking of You watercolor cards

All of the cards below were made using the same batch of distress ink on a mat..........simply take your distress ink pad and stamp it directly on your non-stick craft mat, being careful not to overlap them or you will contaminate your ink pads with other colors.  Lightly spritz the ink on the mat with a spritz bottle of water.  Take a sheet of watercolor paper that you've cut down to the size you need and swipe it all across the inks.  Do this several times until you get the look you want.  Set that one aside and do another, spritzing the ink on the mat with more water if necessary.  Dry with a heat gun or let them air dry.  Once dry, stamp with an ink such as black VersaFine.

Sympathy cards don't have to be dull and dreary..............I think if you add some color to them, they let the recipient know that brighter days will come eventually.
