Pinwheel card

This card is larger than the last pinwheel card I made.  The instructions on making the smaller card can be found here:


I wanted a slightly larger card than an A2 with a bigger pinwheel,  so here are the directions for making the larger card:

Cut two pieces of solid color cardstock 3 3/4"  x 3 3/4" each.  These are the backgrounds which will be covered with the dsp.  Next, using your 1 3/4" Marvy Uchida square punch, punch out 4 pieces of one sheet of dsp and 4 pieces of another pattern of dsp.  If you don't have the punch, you can use your papertrimmer and cut out the pieces manually.

Then you are going to follow the assembly instructions as shown in the link above.  The only difference is the size of the squares you will use.  The card itself is a 5 1/2" x 7".  Cut a sheet of cardstock 11x7 for the card base and fold it in half giving you a 5/12 x 7 card.  Layer different mats on top of that if you want, decreasing the size by 1/8" each time.
