I am entering this card in the Sizzix Challenge Halloween which can be seen here:
The die used to make this card is the Sizzix Exclusive Fancy Edge Flip-Its Die which can be purchased here:
I used the card base part of the die on black cardstock which gave me the base of the card all in one piece; all I had to do was fold on the two crease lines. Can't get any easier than that.
Then I used the second set of dies included in this package to cut out the green dsp which fits perfectly inside the black card base. Again, it can't get any easier -- no measuring or anything. Just cut the paper and adhere it, leaving a small framed edge.
The final step was to cut a square piece of cardstock to fit the center flip-it part. This was just a matter of cutting a 2.25 square piece of cardstock. I then cut out two small candy corns from the Spellbinders die Candy Corn and adhered them to the front of the square using foam dimensionals.
The back side of the square flip-it part of the card is a stamp by Frantic Stamper called "It's All About Candy". This is a new stamp which will be added to their online store very soon. You can get to their online store here:
This card will be set aside for next year and mailed to West Virginia University HealthCare for their Octoberfest 2015 to be given to one of the children in the pediatrics ICU.
