These Petite Layering Posies make such cute flowers, especially when used with the Petite Leaves. I cut the bottom layer of the flower on gold glitter cardstock using the largest die in the Petite Posies set, then cut the same size out again but on a designer paper that was gold and off white, then cut the middle size die on gold glitter cardstock again. I roll the flowers on a rubber mat using a stylus and then adhere them together, staggering the petals just slightly. Fill in the centers of the flowers with a pearl and they are done.
I used the Diagonal Card Sketcher for the blue part on this card. It cuts all the blue in one piece with the diagonal piece attached to the frame. I just layered it on top of some designer paper that had gold foiled flowers on it.
To tie it all together, I cut out the word Spring on gold foil cardstock and cut the Petite Leaves using the same gold foil cardstock. The Petite Leaves have these beautiful lines etched into the die so they really add dimension and a perfect touch to the gold leaves.
