A Second Gilded Sun Rays card

Previously I posted a gilded sun rays card with a sailboat on it which you can see here:

Today's card makes use of the other half of the embossed and gilded card front from the sailboat card.
When I embossed the cardstock the first time, I gilded all the rays on it but then cut the paper in half so I could get two cards out of it since the bottom half gets covered with hills or waves.

The butterfly was made by inking some cardstock with Color Cloud Blending ink then spreading on a layer of texture paste.  All this was done right onto the solid butterfly which is the layer beneath the layer with all the holes cut into it.  While the texture paste was still wet, I pressed on the top layer to the butterfly and let it dry.

Products used:  Cosmic Shimmer Gilding flakes, 1/8" double sided tape, Ecstasy Crafts Dazzling Sunburst EF, Cosmic Shimmer Color Cloud Blending ink in Frosty Jade and Ocean Blue, Cosmic Shimmer Aurora Sparkle Texture Paste, Frantic Stamper Stitched Scene Builder Edgers / Solid Butterfly/ Monarch butterfly/ Pinprick circles

This is what the embossing folder looks like:

To gild the rays after the cardstock was embossed,  I just adhered the 1/8" double sided tape to the lines in the white rays area then pressed on some gold gilding flakes and rubbed them in gently with my fingers.

All products used to make these cards are available at Ecstasy Crafts.
