Black White and Blue Daisy

The Dies R Us Challenge Blog has a challenge going on until April 28 called Black & White with accent color optional.  I'm entering this card in the challenge.  You can join along and try to win a $10 gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store.

Black and white cards can be so elegant looking in just black and white,  but I wanted the daisy to stand out on this card so I chose to use an aqua color as my accent color.

The background is a swirl embossing folder which I rubbed on pearl gilding wax.  The top layer is the Bold Daisy embossing folder.  The black swirled leaves are the Cheery Lynn Mini Fanciful Flourish.

I added some Aurora Sparkle Texture Paste to the daisy and the centers of the embossed daisies to give them some shine.

The products used to make my card are available at Dies R Us.

A new challenge begins on the first and fifteenth of every month.  Be sure to Follow Us on Facebook too.
