The inspiration for this card came from two black iron crane statues that my neighbor has in her front yard around her lamppost. I used the Impression Obsession Shore Birds, cutting the two largest in black.
The white background is the Tufted Cushion Card Panel which I cut in white and mounted on a piece of white cardstock. The shaped black die is from the Sue Wilson Californian Collection Basic Frames (Set A). The layer on top of the black layer is from the Sue Wilson Californian Collection Hollywood. You get a frame with this Hollywood set that coordinates perfectly with the Basic Frames set, leaving just an 1/8th of an inch gap.
I sponged some green and blue inks on the top white Hollywood panel to give the illusion of grass and the sky behind the fence.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look -- Ann.
