Halloween Window Cards

I have to admit, I probably own more Halloween dies than dies for any other season.  Halloween has become such a huge money maker in the United States -- our stores were stocking Halloween items on their shelves back in May.   As a crafter, I know that I have to buy my seasonal dies months ahead, so when I browsed through the dies at the Dies R Us Store and found all these wonderful Halloween dies, you better believe they went in my shopping cart right away.  Do you get that "high" like I do when I shop at the Dies R Us Store and find everything I want or think I need.

First, let's talk about the spider web card.

I used the Poppy Stamps Grand Madison Window, which has essentially been replaced with their Large Madison Window Set.  Almost the same size of window, just doesn't have the vertical bar in the middle.  In addition, you now get a shutter, a flowerbox, flowers and stems all in the set.  This is what the set looks like:

I also used these dies on the card:

Memory Box Scary Spiders  (now Memory Box Big & Small Spiders)

For the second card, I used the same window die, in addition to these:

If you are a cat lover, or just like using cats on your cards like I do, you will love this set of cats:

Happy Halloween shopping.......thank you for stopping by. -- Ann

  1. More AMAZING cards, Ann!! WOW!! I love them both!!

  2. Yikes! There you go again, Ann, getting me all inspired! LOL LOL - I now have that window set on order, and the cat set, too! I never noticed those kitties before! I love the idea of looking through the window. For some reason, even though I've seen other designers using the window in this way, it never occurred to me that I could use a stamped image in the background! I guess your design sparked my little pea brain LOL LOVE both cards - so cute! hugs, de

  3. Thanks, Ann, for showing me a nice big window die. I have been wanting one, but wasn't sure which one would be big enough. I saw your adorable Halloween cards on Facebook - Simply Cardmaking. Glad you posted!

    1. I hope the new die is as big as the old one that I used. I was going off the measurements they give online for the new die.
