Plaid Floral Hello

Monday's challenge at Simon Says Stamp is "You've Got the Edge" where they want you to add some  interest to the edge of your card.  I chose to draw attention to the bottom edge by adding some enamel dots that matched the dots in the flower centers.

The flowers were made using Cheery Lynn's Sweet William die.  I cut two for each flower and separated them with a piece of foam tape for dimension.  After I cut these flowers, I realized they look an awful lot like the Martha Stewart Cosmos punch flowers I have been using lately.  The word "hello" was cut three times and adhered on top of each other.

Products Used:  Frantic Stamper Large Hello, Cheery Lynn Sweet William,  Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Winter paper, Doodlebug Gingham paper, Sue Wilson Family Tree (flower leaves), Sue Wilson Double Pierced Background Rectangles

I'm also adding this card to the Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment ~ Ann

  2. Wonderful CAS card. Thanks for blessing us with your creation at Word Art Wednesday. Please join us again in our current challenge. Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word in Philippians 1:6 which says, "For I am confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Have a blessed day!
