Floral Filmstrip

Today is Day 23 of the 30 Days of Diemond Dies Promotion.  I chose to make a brightly colored filmstrip card.

Filmstrip dies are so versatile;  they look just as good on cards as they do on scrapbook pages.  For my card,  I used the Filmstrip die and Pretty Petals Flower die set by Diemond Dies.

For the flowers, I cut three of the middle flower in the die set (3rd largest / 3rd smallest) and layered them so the petals were staggered and not on top of each other.  Then I cut the filmstrip die out of black paper and again out of green gingham paper so I could place the green rectangular pieces into the filmstrip for more contrast.

Diemond Dies has generously given me a 20% discount code for blog friends receive 20% off your order and FREE Shipping in the US and International of $20 or more, simply use code ddag.
