Floral and Shiny

My first attempt at making a mixed media card with texture paste, inks, torn papers, die cuts and stamps. . . I'm entering this in the following challenges:

To make the card, I started off by cutting out the Cheery Lynn Chicken Wire die with some heavy cardstock so I could use it as a stencil.  I applied some Heidi Swapp Metallic White texture paste over the stencil, let it dry, then used the die again but just to emboss over the stenciling.

After that, I torn some designer paper and embossed it with the Square Lattice embossing folder for some texture.  I adhered the pieces to the corners of the card the adhered an oval that I had stamped my greeting on.  I doodled the faux stitching around the oval.  The rest was just a matter of adhering the die cuts where they fit best.

Products used:  Heidi Swapp Metallic White Texture Paste, Cheery Lynn Chicken Wire die, Frantic Stamper Fern, Impression Obsession Fence, EK Success Mini Butterfly punch, Dee's Distinctively Berry Sprigs, Rubbernecker "Be Yourself" stamp, Stampin' Up Square Lattice embossing folder, Diamond Stickles and Green Stickles.
