Mom's Birthday Card

My mother's birthday is in a few days.  Normally I make her a card with lots of flowers on it but I wanted something different this year.  I used Picked Raspberry and  Squeezed Lemonade distress inks for the blended background, then I heat embossed the Hero Arts Leafy Vine stamp with gold embossing powder.

The butterflies were stamped several times in my MISTI in order to get a dark image then colored in with some Memento markers and a white gel pen.  I cut the butterflies out and adhered them to the card with some 3D foam.  The word "Mom" was cut twice; once in gold and again in black and layered offset slightly for a shadow effect.

Products used:  Hero Arts Leafy Vine, Hero Arts Antique Engravings stamp set, Dee's Distinctively MOM, Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks, white gel pen, Memento markers, gold embossing powder

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping by ~ Ann
