Stampin' Up Beautiful Day Purple

Simon Says Stamp's Monday challenge is Mythology:  Inspired by a Story.  My butterfly card was inspired by the meaning of the butterfly in Irish mythology which is "brightness or lightning of the Gods".  In the Irish myth Tochmarc Etain, they talk of a "purple fly" which is later translated to mean a butterfly.

Products used:  Stampin Up Beautiful Day, gold embossing powder, Kimberly watercolor pencils, Crafter's Companion Heart Trellis embossing folder, Sue Wilson Stitched Flags

I'm also entering this in the SSS Wed challenge:  Add some Texture (embossing folder)

Thanks for stopping by ~ Ann
