Best of Times

I have another nephew with a birthday coming up.  He loves his two dogs (thus the paper doll with the dog); while making his card, I tried to do some new techniques......the oval frame was cut out on brown foil cardstock, painted over with white acrylic paint, then sanded down.   Looking back at it, I wish I had stamped the oval with a text stamp after painting it.

I'll enter this in the following challenges:

Products used:  Tim Holtz Paper Dolls, Spellbinders Elegant Ovals, 7 Gypsies Journey Collection, Bundled Sage/Worn Lipstick/Evergreen Bough/Vintage Photo distress inks, white acrylic paint, foiled cardstock

Thanks for stopping by ~ Ann

  1. This is a stunning card! I love how you personalized it for your nephew by adding the cute little doggie! I also really like the color blending you did in the background. The colors give it energy and a wow-factor without being too over-the-top or crazy. Thank you so much for continuing to share your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog! I always enjoy your entries.
