Ombre Alcohol Inks

I used a variety of alcohol inks to make the background:  Salmon, Shell Pink, Watermelon and Coral.  I dripped the colors randomly on my craft mat then swiped a piece of glossy photo paper through the drips.  The bees were stamped with the Stampers Anonymous Oddities Tim Holtz collection using Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink.

I'll enter this in the following challenges:

  6. What a great card, Ann! Your use of AIs is fabulous. I've never heard of anyone dropping the ink onto their craft mat, and then placing the glossy on top like that. It certainly results in wonderful color placement! It DOES resemble a honey comb with the bees stamped on top! Thanks for sharing a fun technique. hugs, de
