Home Sweet Home

One of my nieces is moving into a new house so I thought a card would be appropriate to welcome her to her new home.

The background was made using the Taylored Expressions Brick embossing folder with white cardstock which I then painted over with white gesso.  I ran the piece of paper through some Frayed Burlap and Faded Jeans distress inks that were watered down on my craft mat.

The Stampin' Up thinlits Butterfly was cut out of glossy photo paper that I inked up with a variety of alcohol inks for a metallic look.  The key is from Michaels.  I cut a blue heart to fill in the top of the key then adhered a diamond gem.  The stamp "Home Sweet Home" is from the Marianne Designs Collection COL1333.

Thanks for stopping by ~ Ann
