Use Your Wings

This is a card I made a few months ago but never got around to posting.

I used the Impression Obsession butterfly die and manually cut the backing for it.

The rose is an old Recollections flower on top of a frond punched out with a Martha Stewart punch.

The top layer background piece was embossed with the KaiserCraft roses embossing folder and the bottom layer was embossed using the Stampin' Up Square Lattice folder.  The layers were then cut out using a Tim Holtz die Stacked Deckle.  The chipboard Use Your Wings is also by Tim Holtz.

I haven't been posting much lately as I am working on several large mixed media projects and haven't made cards in months.  My latest project is an apothecary shadow box for my nephew, Zach, who is graduating in 2020 from WVU School of Pharmacy.   The first step of this project involves making tons of mini pharmacy textbooks to put on a shelf within the shadow box.  I'll post a tutorial for making mini books soon.

Thanks for stopping by ~ Ann
