Star Albums - class post-poned, will be offered at a later date.

Star Albums are mini photo/scrap books that close up like a book but when opened up take the shape of a star. They are made out of 9 pieces of paper and a ribbon. A selection of paper and coordinating ribbon will be provided unless you have paper that you want to bring. In that case, please email me so I can send you a supply list of what type of paper you will need. You will need to bring two sided permanent tape 1/4 or 1/2 inch wide, a full roll of it (5 yard roll), dry permanent adhesive on a roller, scissors and a paper trimmer (very important).

Please email me at AnnGreenspan@gmail.com or call me at 410-381-7944 by Thursday, Nov. 17 if you would like to take this class.

Aluminum Candle Holders in 3 sizes -- Saturday, Nov. 5, 10:00 - 1:00pm, $10.00

These candleholders are cut and embossed on the Cuttlebug and Vagabond. You can make candleholders in 3 different sizes for tealights, votives and 3x3 pillars (the candles we will be putting stamps on in another class) all in this class. All materials provided, even the tealights until they run out. Class size is limited so email me by Thurs. 11/3 at AnnGreenspan@gmail.com or call me at 410-381-7944 if you want to take this class. All you need to bring is a pair of semi-heavy gloves such as old leather gloves so you don't cut your hands using the aluminum. After the candleholders are cut out, the gloves aren't needed.

Exploding Boxes -- Friday, Nov. 11, 10:00 - 11:30 $10.00 / $15.00

The pink and green one above is an exploding box within an exploding box.

You lift the inside cover to reveal the xmas tree and presents inside. The silver and blue one has two boxes inside which hold a miniature snowman.

Exploding Boxes are mini albums that fold up into a box and when the cover is taken off, the sides unfold on their own, "exploding" and showing the multiple layers of photos and embellishments inside. You can put tiny envelopes on the insides or pockets and tuck money in them, put tags in them, use photo sliders, etc. There's just so much you can do with these. Children love opening all the tiny pockets in these. In the very center there is enough room for a 3D item such as a standing xmas tree or another smaller box with something hidden inside.

If you have your own scoring board, please bring it. You will need the following supplies:
Martha Stewart scoring board and bone folder
Paper trimmer
Scissors and pencil
Two sided permanent tape such as Provo Craft (at Hobby Lobby) 1/4" wide or 1/2" wide
Adhesive on a roller, permanent (no glue sticks please, they won't hold)

I will provide the paper unless you have your own paper you want to use. In that case, you will need two coordinating pieces of 12x12 heavy cardstock with a print on it for the base and lid of the box and 4 pieces of plain (non-printed) cardstock that coordinate with those other pieces, for example all shades of pink that match your cover pieces. If you bring all your own paper, the cost of the class is only $10, unless you use my paper, then the cost is $15.

Please email me at AnnGreenspan@gmail.com or call me at 410-381-7944 before Wed. Nov. 9 if you would like to attend this class.

Stamp Candles Class -- Monday, Nov. 7 at 6:00 pm, $20

This is a second class in case you couldn't make it to the first time it was offered on 10/29. You will learn how to transfer your stamped and colored image on to 3 candles -- 2 medium pillars and one small pillar. All materials are provided. I suggest you bring a pair of thin gloves to wear while holding the candles as the heat guns get hot. Winter leather gloves work well or borrow a pair of mine.
Please email me by Fri, 11/4 at AnnGreenspan@gmail.com or call me at 410-381-7944 if you wish to take this class so I can have time to purchase the supplies. I also have a class on how to make candleholders on the Cuttlebug using aluminum.

In this class you will learn how to create your own stamped image on a pillar candle. Each person can make 2 of the medium size pillar candles and one small pillar; each candle will hold two to 3 images depending on the stamp you choose. I will provide all the materials, including the candles. You just need to color the stamped image of your choice with my copics or other markers, and I will show you how to transfer your image on to the candle. These make great gifts. New Class Hours for October, November and December classes

Since I have so many classes to offer this time of year with Christmas cards and different holiday projects, and I want to try to reach as many of you who took my classes at Michaels as possible, all of my Thursday night classes will now begin at 6:30pm instead of 5:30pm effective Oct. 17. My Monday night classes will start at 6:00, these are the technique classes which require more class time.

Both Monday and Thursday night's classes will get out at 7:50pm. The store closes at 8pm.

I hope to be able to see more of you in class by offering the later start time. If you would like to reserve a spot in any of my classes, just send me an email with the name of the class and I will sign you up, but please take note of the deadlines.

Thank you and feel free to email me with any questions or comments.
