More cards with Embossed Metal Backgrounds

All backgrounds are embossing folders from Lifestyle Crafts.  The flowers are stamps from Hero Arts.  The smaller flowers in the centers are embossed on vellum then colored with copics.  You can change clear vellum to any color you want simply by coloring it with markers.

Classes to resume in October at Hobby Lobby

Just some of the things we will make in class come October.  I don't have any classes during September as it is the start of a new school year and things are just too busy this time of year for everyone.

The cat and pumpkin baskets can be made in a variety of sizes from small to almost a 6" basket size without the handle.  Frankenstein is made using the Stampin' Up Top Note die but can also be made using a Spellbinders Label die.  You can change the color to pink and make a Mrs. Frankenstein as well.

Details on my October class dates and times will follow shortly.

Gorgeous Bloom card

The flowers were made using the Memory Box Gorgeous Bloom (large and mini) stamps.  I stamped the large stamp twice and the mini stamp twice using white embossing powder then cut out one of the large stamps slightly smaller than it's original size and did the same to one of the minis.  Then I layered them with Stampin' Up dimensionals.  The leaves are a Spellbinders die.  The background is the Tea Party embossing folder by LifeStyle Crafts embossed on QuicKutz metal.  I left room at the bottom of the card to stamp on a greeting when the time comes to use the card.  These roses and leaves fit perfectly on the embossed background roses and leaves background.

If you are looking for some really nice embossing folders, go to www.lifestylecrafts.com, click on Products, then QuicKutz embossing folders.  You get two folders for $9.99 and some are even less.  They have a lot of floral ones and they have coupon offers online if you search for them.

Rose cards

Both cards are made with backgrounds using the QuickKutz Floral embossing folder by LifeStyle Crafts and the roses are made using the Spellbinders rose creations die.  I especially like using metal with embossing folders so you will be seeing more of that to come shortly.
