Metallic Gilding Wax on Embossed Leaves card

To make this card, I first dry embossed a piece of black cardstock using the Leaves embossing folder.  Then I lightly rubbed on some Pearl Moon metallic gilding wax over the entire card front with my finger.  The key with using gilding wax is to apply it very lightly.  You can always add more but can't really take it away if you add too much.

The flower is stamped and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  I used the coordinating Peony stamp and die set.

Using the gilding wax after dry embossing a card is a great way to highlight the embossing.
